Karyn worked in the banking industry for more than 30 years before joining Smith Accounting and Smith Financial Services in Iowa City. Smith Financial Services merged into and rebranded as Stewards Planning Group in 2025. As a client services assistant, Karyn coordinates financial planning and investment services such as account opening, maintenance and money movement. Karyn holds associate's degrees in general business and science. She has been married to her husband, Mike, for more than 25 years, and they have two Labradors named Kody and River.
In her spare time, Karyn enjoys reading, baking and spending time with friends and family.
